Lyndsie Whitehead, MAT
Ms. Whitehead is a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow and doctoral student at Howard University in the Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies Program. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh, with extensive experience teaching locally and abroad. In 2010,Whitehead received the Presidential Award of Service for providing technical assistance and professional development training for administrative staff at Adama University in Ethiopia.
Lyndsie’s primary research interest is the internationalization of HBCUs and the push-pull factors that influence student choice in studying abroad.
As lab manager at RISE, Whitehead’s primary duties include: participant recruitment, data collection, management, and analysis, as well as research project coordination.
